Step 1: Getting Started
To begin, sign in to your ChatLab account. If you don’t have an account yet, you can sign up here.
- Dashboard Overview: Once logged in, you will be taken to the dashboard. This is your central hub for managing all your chatbots.
- Create New Chatbot: Click on the "Create New Chatbot" button to start the setup process.
Step 2: Define Basic Information
- Name Your Chatbot: Enter a name for your chatbot that reflects its purpose or role within your organisation. Chatbot name will be displayed on the top of chat widget and will be visible for your users.
Step 3: Confirmation and Details
Once you've completed the basic setup steps, ChatLab will create your chatbot. After creation, you will be directed to a summary page displaying essential information about your new chatbot, including:
- Quick Access Links: Links to further customise, train, or deploy your chatbot.
- Avatar: The picture that the customer sees.
- Bot name: The name that the customer sees.
- Bot ID: A unique identifier for your chatbot.
- Model: AI model your chatbot is using (GPT-3.5, GPT-4o, Etc).
- Training Status: An indicator of whether your chatbot has already been trained or not
- Training Used: Number of characters used during training (chatbot’s training limit).
- Last updated: Date of your chatbot’s last change.
- Try out on empty page: Try widget / iframe option on an empty page. More information here.
- Share your chatbot with your team: Invite / view chatbot’s administrators.
