AI Models Powering ChatLab
ChatLab utilizes some of the most advanced AI models available today to provide a superior chatbot experience. These models include various versions of OpenAI's GPT and Google's Gemini. Each model offers unique strengths tailored to different needs and budgets.
Choosing your AI model
From the main ChatLab administration page, select Chatbots in the main menu, click on selected chatbot, select Settings and scroll down to AdvancedSettings, and choose Model. Here you can select between various OpenAI and Google Gemini AI models.
OpenAI:
- GPT 3.5 (1 credit per message): The simplest, fast and economical model with a decent accuracy. Perfect for for projects with limited resources and tasks that do not require extensive context memory.
- GPT 4-O (5 credits per message): Offers the best quality to price ratio, with minimal hallucinations and precise responses. Almost as fast as GPT 3.5.
- GPT 4-O Mini (1 credit per message): the newest and the fastest of OpenAI models - default setting for all bots
- GPT 4-TURBO (10 credits per message): Less precise, but faster version of GPT 4. Ideal for interactive and frequent queries.
- GPT 4 (20 credits per message): The most accurate, but slow and the most expensive. Best for complex tasks and advanced function calling.
Google:
- Gemini 1.5 flash (1 credit per message): The newest and the fastest model from Google. Faster and more accurate than GPT 3.5, best for dynamic content generation.
- Gemini 1.5 pro (10 credits per message): The most accurate in the Gemini family and a alternative to GPT 4, performs better in coding and math, but not as god in general reasoning and language comprehension.
