How to integrate your chatbot with Wix
Follow these steps to connect your Wix Store to ChatLab. You will gather your site identifier, account identifier, and API key, then configure the integration in ChatLab.

Before you start - make sure you have ChatLab Standard or Premium subscription that allows for Wix integration. Check the pricing page
1. How it works
Order Details
With the order details feature, users can inquire about the status of their orders by providing two key details: the order identifier and the email address associated with the order. Both parameters are validated against your Wix store’s records, and order information is retrieved only if there is a match.
The chatbot returns the following details for the matched order:
- Total Price: The total value of the order.
- Ordered Items: A list of items in the order, including:
- Name: The name of the product.
- Quantity: The number of units ordered.
- Price: The unit price of the product.
- Shipping Address: The delivery address provided for the order.
This integration ensures a smooth and efficient way for users to check order information without navigating the Wix store interface.
2. Create integration in Wix Store
2.1 Get your Site ID
Sign in to your Wix admin dashboard. In your browser’s address bar, copy the siteId
parameter from the URL.
2.2 Create API Key
In the dashboard, click the Account Settings icon (top-right).
Open API Keys section.
Click “Generate API Key” button
Name your key (eg. ‘chatlab’) and grant these permissions fromfrom “All site permissions” group: Wix Stores and Wix eCommerce.
Click “Generate Key” button, complete any security prompts, and copy your API key from the one-time display.
2.3 Get your Account ID
After closing the API key dialog, find Account ID on the right side of the API Keys page. Copy to account ID value by clicking ‘Copy ID’ button.
3. Activate integration for your chatbot.
Login to chatlab admin console , select the bot and go to Integrations tab.
Navigate to ‘Wix’ section, enable integration with wix by switching it on and provide API Key, AccountID and Site ID you obtained in previous steps.
Afterward click ‘Update Chatbot’ button. It will save changes and test integration. You should receive a confirmation message indicating the integration works properly.
4. Integration with Wix E-commerce Stores.
