Deleting your data
The Danger Zone section allows you to perform critical actions related to data management and chatbot removal. Please note that these operations are permanent and cannot be undone, so proceed with caution. Conversation retention settings
This setting allows you to define how long conversation history is retained before being permanently removed. You can configure a retention period between 30 and 180 days. Conversations older than the specified duration will be automatically deleted to maintain data cleanliness and comply with storage policies.
Delete Conversations (Clear History)
In this section, you can permanently delete all conversations associated with a specific chatbot. Once deleted, these conversations cannot be restored.
To delete conversations:
- Select the chatbot from which you want to delete conversation history.
- Click "Delete conversations history".
- Confirm the deletion when prompted. This action is final, and all conversation data for the selected chatbot will be removed.
Note: Conversations older than 180 days (if not configured differently) will be automatically deleted from our system to ensure data management and compliance.
Lead data retention settings
This setting allows you to define how long collected lead data is retained before being permanently deleted. You can configure a retention period between 30 and 180 days. Lead data older than the specified duration will be automatically removed to ensure data compliance and optimize storage usage.
Delete Collected Leads
You can also choose to delete all leads collected by a specific chatbot. This action will permanently erase all captured leads and cannot be undone.
To delete leads:
- Select the chatbot whose leads you want to delete.
- Click "Delete lead data".
- Confirm your choice when asked. Once confirmed, all lead data associated with the selected chatbot will be permanently removed.
Note: As with conversations, leads older than 180 days (if not configured differently) will be automatically deleted from the system.
