Human-Like Messaging
Human-Like Messaging aims to simulate the natural pace of human conversation and enhance the overall user experience. Its main goal is to make interactions with a chatbot feel more natural and less "robotic." Humans don't respond instantly, and very often, we don't reply in one long message. We need time to process information, formulate thoughts, and prepare answers. Chatbots with this feature enabled are more human-like.
- Where to enable it?
Navigate yourself to “Settings”→ “Appearance” and just below “Auto open chat widget after page load” you have option to enable “Human-Like Messaging”. You can disable it anytime you want.
- Why would I use this tool?
“Human-Like Messaging” makes the bot seem more intelligent, thoughtful, and less like a machine. This leads to increased user satisfaction, as the smoother and more natural interaction creates a better overall experience when using the chatbot.
However, it also has a downside. If we set “Delay Between Bubbles” for too many seconds, it can create some problems for users. In critical situations or when the user needs an immediate response, a response delay can lead to frustration. It's important to tailor "Human-Like Messaging" to your needs.
